The restoration to seagoing condition of James Stevens No.14, the world's oldest
motor lifeboat, was completed by Frinton & Walton Heritage Trust in 2009. Lifeboat at Walton-on-the-Naze from
1900 to 1928, she is now a working artifact of Walton Maritime Museum, kept afloat and used to take
passengers out into safe local waters for a taste of life at sea a hundred years ago.
