2pm to 4pm Easter Bank Holiday weekend, both May Bank Holiday weekends, and daily (2pm to 4pm) from 1st July to 30th September. [We do rely on voluntary stewards]

Tourist brown signs mark the way to our Museums starting at the Weeley roundabout on the A133 from Colchester.
At the Weeley roundabout take the B1033 to Walton-on-Naze, passing through Thorpe-le-Soken, Kirby Cross and Frinton.
The Museum is located beyond Walton town centre off the approach road to the Naze. You will pass a swimming pool on your
left and have the sea on your right. Follow the Brown Sign by taking the next right, following the coast, to the end of East Terrace. We are located next
to the Coastguard Station in the Old Life Boat House.
If you arrive by public transport, go through the town centre or follow the sea wall heading north as above.
There is long-term parking near the swimming pool and some parking at the end of East Terrace near the Museum which is normally full on fine days in the summer.
limited short term disabled parking on the Museum forecourt but please advise our stewards of your arrival.
Located in Walton’s Old Life Boat House built 1884, our Museum is on one level with easy access from the seafront.
are no steps or ramps and good access with parking for disabled visitors. Our displays are desk height & wall mounted.
There is a disabled toilet & a small shop area. Refreshments are available close by at the Sunrays Kiosk 30m away on the
seafront. Rest areas are available inside the museum and on the forecourt.
